Another Live Wager changing AFTER hitting Submit (WITH PICS)

Thanks @Mikey_Bovada! Again, I know you happened to be the mod around when it happened this time, but this in no way about your specific response as that’s the consistent message I have received each time from different mods.

It’s more about Bovada and the Sportsbook Team (or whomever checks into these things for you guys / gals), the overall response to this issue that has been continuing to happen for quite a while now to many people (even just counting Community members who have bothered to make a post), who knows how many other non-Community members it has happened to. I just don’t understand why it continues to be an issue, that as far as my couple decade gambling career goes, is isolated to Bovada (and honestly seems worse now than in the past as Live Betting is something I have been doing for 20 years).

I live bet on a soccer team to score over 1 1/2 goals. When I placed the bet it didn’t say anything about only regulation time. The team got the second goal at the 94th minute. So my bet was a loss. When I looked at ticket afterwards then is where I saw “Live regulation time”. Felt like I got screwed.

94th minute being the 4th minute of ET, correct? Not 90’ + 4’ minute, as that is just stoppage time of the original 90 minutes.

Almost all soccer wagers are Regulation Time unless otherwise stated.

Thanks. I didn’t know that. Smh

the time is added due to injuries etc…so the 4 min extra is time that was lost from the play…so its regulation.

It depends on if he is referring to a 90’ + 4’ goal or a 94th minute goal. 94th minute would indicate it was 4 minutes into the first of 2 additional 15 min halved that make up Extra Time prior to Penalty Kicks in the current FIFA Laws of the Game. This portion used to be “golden goal”, but is no longer.

What game?

yes amigo but if its 2 extra 15 mins it will be the 90 min without a + symbol

Correct. That’s why i said 90’ + 4’ goal vs 94th minute goal (which is what he put in his post)

Make sure you stay on top of this. They always say we put in a ticket for you. But ive never once heard back from them after the ticket was submitted. They dont inbox and say " this is blah blah blah"…so i would highly suggest you message them once a week to get clarity on “where” your ticket is

You are telling the truth there buddy.

I have a question on this though. In the example above, 94th minute I feel like should still be considered regulation time. The ET added is just regulation time that is added to the end because of injuries during the game. So I think @Wattz74 should be paid for this if he bet on something to happen during regulation. In my opinion, overtime (or extra time) is the 2 periods of 15 minutes each and the penalty kicks stage if the game is tied after regulation.

That overtime (of 2 - 15 min periods is called Extra Time). Usually you will see Awaiting Extra Time 1 or Awaiting Extra Time 2 before these periods.

The time added on the end of Regulation Time (for hydration breaks, injuries, subs, time wasting, etc.) is generally called Added Time, so if they scored in the 4th minute of Added Time or 90’ + 4’, then it should be part of Regulation Time and count. If it was in the 94th minute, that is from them starting the Extra Time 1 at 90’ and going to 105’, then Extra Time 2 is 105’ to 120’. If there is added time in Extra Time it would be like 105’ + 3’.

We REALLY need to know which game it was and settle it all, lol.

Oh ok gotcha. I didnt read the whole thread and misinterpreted your explanation. But yes it depends on if it was the 94th minute as added time or if the match went to extra time and a goal was scored 4 minutes into the first 15 minute half. Thanks for the clarification.

Welp now I had to deal with this bs. I chose and confirmed the over 5.5 f5 live in the orioles and reds game. And now I check my open bets and of course it is locked in as the under 5.5. @moderators what am I supposed to do if half the time I place a live bet it comes in completely wrong? This is crazy. I’ve never had less confidence in my actual bet being placed than now on bovada

Hi @benbray111, a review of the wager detail shows the option that was selected is what was submitted and the wager was already settled unfortunately there is nothing that can be done at this time. I’m sorry.

A ticket was created for this 21 Days ago, do we know if there have been any updates on such a serious issue?
