Cricket betting rules correction

This conversation is regarding a betting rule mentioned in cricket. For deciding a top bowler in cricket the first priority cones for number of wickets and when two or more players has same number of wickets then bowler with best bowling economy is considered as top bowler of an innings. The current sports rule need to be corrected by this rule.

As per our rules:

So if any two bowlers tie; for betting purposes, we use the fewest runs conceded not bowling economy.

But technically in cricket the best bowler is decided on nimber of wics and bowling economy.

If a bowler bowls only 6 balls and pics a wicket with 13 runs how can you compare his bowling economy with other bowler who has equal number of wickets and less economy and more overs

I can understand where you’re coming from but sometimes there are differences on the sport rules and the rules for betting purposes.

For betting purposes in Cricket, if two or more bowlers have the same number of wickets then the one that conceded the fewest runs would be the winner.

Economy rate is not considered for this.

I would agree with @prem3838
