December 16th 2021 - Site Issues

pretty sure that was obvious sarcasm and the point of the joke… they’re not giving 10k risk free plays, even if it has no shot of winning. would be pretty hilarious if they did though

The only risk free part of the equation would be on bovadas side. I’m sure there would be people with laser pointers and other distractions pulling up that game to rig it :joy:

Listen I know some of us simp for the site for some reason, but how can some of you guys be mad at people requesting to maximize the potential of this, which would benefit the gamblers. Yes, yes a little ungrateful, but let’s not forget this site in the past year took away normal cashback, most non crypto normal deposits unless you want to pay a huge fee, a lot of promo bonuses gone and for me, my crypto loss bonus going from 15% normal cashback to 10% crypto cashback and being at the mercy of random drops.

I’m all for carnage and people wanting to take advantage.

Those whos are not stisfied with the compensation are you going move to other books and leave bovada

Point is…bovada doesn’t care what status you are…everyone on this forum leaves, you won’t be missed. There’s another degenerate signing up every minute.

I don’t get what the uproar is all about.

Unless you’re a big spender (I’d say 5000+ a month) or hosted or the outage had a direct impact such as large parlay wagers you couldn’t cash out or hedge what do they really owe you?

I mean they’re giving us something for simply not being able to use the service and if you push the issue with a rep you’ll get some extra.

I’m more interested in considering moving my casino spending over to wild after the past couple days cuz they got some loose slots and blackjack :money_mouth_face:

Edit: no complaints trying to squeeze some extra but idk about the whole full rant boycott just for a 48 hour outage unless you directly lost funds from it

The “I deposit 6 figures a month crowd” are just trying to get comped for wasting their money. It’s your choice, I’m not saying you shouldn’t…however bovada doesn’t owe anybody anything. This is an entertainment platform, not a savings account

some people are pathetic and simp for billion dollar corporations instead of the players (which they are one of) it’s pathetic bootlicking behavior. Like yeah they don’t have to give us shit, but it’s bad business practice to trust the loyalty will last forever when there are so many other options out there. They should overcompensate and make us feel like we got lucky with them being down, not like we missed out of money and are salty.

Diving deeper, even if they gave 1K to every member of bovada. I highly doubt 10% of those accounts would even pass 2x play through requirements to cashout, even if they did…they’d get greedy and lose it all. That’s why gambling is successful more so than the house edge element. The high is too powerful for most

I love the taste of leather boots :boot:

Seriously though if you really wanna squeeze them, make a point to call in and if you don’t feel you got enough from them do a full withdrawal right after and see if they blink.

I definitely want to be compensated for the jackpot I would have won if the site was running.

I want my million bucks right now!!!

I am willing to settle for 59k

Ok I’ll take 25 free spins

The only people who lose in this are the high rollers or guys who bet their entire bankroll.

A lot of gambling is a mental battle and you’re going to have a lot of people chasing that TNF or whatever game they’re going to be chasing that would’ve worked out had the site been working.

The compensation should’ve been based on tiers or at the very least your average deposit in the past 7 or 31 days. I see both sides of it but it’s definitely a slap in the face to “compensate” someone $200 if they’re depositing thousands of dollars weekly

I completely agree compensation should be fair but when has gambling ever been fair? Truth still stands, you only win if your lucky and that window doesn’t stay open for very long. Of course a skilled gambler could take advantage of a hefty bonus, which is why it wouldn’t be given. Honestly, $100 is more than enough for a above average gambler to cashout $500 on a sub par day

This is the answer. Account based compensation.

Hosted HOF that do $10,000 in deposits weekly should not be in the same discussion as the $200 weekend sports bettor.

Best solution is a marketing “mystery points drop” based on transactions that will compensate based on wagers

Who knows I imagine they’re still scrambling

Also, part of this whole shtick could be a test of loyalty from bovada…maybe if the people complaining about their compensation don’t leave they get rewarded in a week. Who knows

I want a tournament named after me and a mink coat.

That’s not too much to ask

At least before this big NFL game Pats v Colts!

The best “payout” will be for those who balk at a bad gift, do a full withdrawal, and don’t log into their account for a week.

That’s who will end up getting fat compensation.

But most people on here won’t be able to go a week without looking, let alone without placing wagers here

Well not every minute… theyve gone like 3600 kinutes with no one signing up currently

What if this whole update was to “unrig” all their slots and it just took them a while to figure out which combinations they removed/formula to bring the games back to “normal” :face_with_monocle:
