Because I donāt want jerks I donāt know to take advantage of a pick I make and they get to see and then they can either pick with me so they donāt lose or they can pick against meā¦
It should very much be like Poker. Nobody should know what you are betting.

Every year I participated in this contest until this year. The poll results remained hidden until the poll was closed.
Itās unlikely Iāll win or get to the point where it matters that someone else could snipe my pick or pick differently as a result of what I have chosen knowing everyones picks is generally not part of the game only for a reference after the poll is closed.
Yada yada boo-hoo woe is me.
Also, I came in here to change my pic, possibly as Iāve been able to do every week and now this poll is already closed early. Iāve already made a choice to employ a strategy of making a pick early just to make sure I have a pick in and then coming back and possibly changing it.
We received contact asking for the picks to be visible so they could check on their picks, this is why it was done.
Personally, I prefer them to be hidden.
With regard to changing your pick, you can do that up until the time specified by sending us a PM
Whoever was asking to know that their pick is viable and selected had a problem being able to see the black dot on their chosen team when they refresh the page to make sure itās there?
The contest was not like this before, and you can always see what youāve picked, and you could always change it.
Whoever is complaining about not being able to see their pick is confirmed isnāt trying hard enough.
I saw that you posted that earlier, but itās a moot point because itās not true. You could always see what you picked AND change it.
Unless there is some iteration of this madness that I missed that may have blocked people from changing their pic for a couple of hoursā¦

People can change their picks at anytime until the poll closes.
This poll has closed early, however we are still taking picks and adding them manually until the time the poll should have remained open until.

how can you tell who you have picked so far? is there a master list that can be posted?
You could tell by visiting the āSurvivors Postsā that were made for each individual week.
