I made a wager a few weeks back and won the first half over on a soccer game. Bovada says the ticket is canceled and not honored a they don’t do 3x30 min half’s. I took another game not knowing and again this game is was 3x30 mins and they said it’s a lose,

See below. You can’t take away my winnings and not honor but when the ticket is a loss, you honor and take the monies.

This is exactly why I have been staying away from club friendlies. You never know the format until the game starts. This has happened to me as well. Feel for you.

Thanks. I won last time and they took away my winnings. So, this time, I lost and they won’t resettle it a no contest - strange; I’m hoping they make it right - how do I add the host or moderator so they can see this?

As per the Sports Team, you selected over 1.5 for the half and there was only 1 goal, which settled the wager correctly.

Thanks! I have been doing this 10 years with Bovada and I don’t complain much but they did keep my winnings on a 3x30 per min match - not cool.

@Mikey You can do a bit better than this. Obviously the question is the 3 X 30 minute halves. And either the score has been inputted wrong or you pulled the wrong game, because I see 3-1 everywhere else, not 2-2.

Granted if it was 2 45 minute halves, none of it really matters and Bovada is right. Not sure how you can prove or disprove that.

The issue isn’t the final score it’s a 1st half bet. He wagered that there will be over 1.5 in the 1st half of the game, as per official scores that was not the case.

A first half bet consist of 45 min half’s. They didn’t play a full 45, they played 30mins. It’s a no contest. It’s simple to read this. Please see attached description of game half’s.

The format played is not the same as a first half bet. The sports team should confirm this.

You’re right, its 100% not the issue. But looks pretty bad using another game’s score to support your answer.
The real issue is the 3X30 halves. If the user had one bet earlier that was voided because it didnt go 45, than there is no reason for this bet not to be voided if it didnt go 45 minutes.
