I wagered ā€œCut Line Score - Under 139ā€ ref 23081794770749

The cut line was -2 on a par 70 course. That accumulated score is 138 and my wager was deemed a loss. After a few emails with customer service, I was told the cut line was -1 = 139 but -1 were the first golfers cut. The cut line is based on which golfing ā€œmake the cutā€ which is -2 = 138 and I still did not get it fixed.

Iā€™m still confused as to why this is the case.

Can someone please bring clarity to this?

I donā€™t bet golf but yeah you are right the cut line was -2 so 138. Shouldnā€™t even be a loss if they view it as -1 should be a push. But you should win it from my understanding

Thanks Dominic. The problem is that Bovada does not have the correct definition of a cut line score. The cut line is the score of the golfer in 65 place and ties. Please search the definition of a cut line and every source speaks to the cut line score being the golfers that make it to the weekend, not the first golfers that donā€™t make the cut. The picture you sent me says ā€œthe following golfers did not make the cut (-2). Which proves that the cut is -2. Not -1. Thanks again.

Yeah the wording is incorrect. 139 score at the Wyndham meant they missed the cut line. You keep playing if you make the cut line, which is 138
