I specifically asked before I placed some bets with bovada and was told, “whenever the dust settles” haha. With bitcoin soaring, my guess is that “the dust will have settled” whenever they have maximized their profits. There is literally zero reason to have not paid them off, last I checked, she was losing by approx 4M votes. And the rules state that they don’t consider challenges and recounts, it’s based on the initial result.

I believe they have already graded the Election Winner ones… But I could be wrong. I know for a fact they graded my small sprinkle at 13 - 1 loser wager on Election Winner, so I assumed they had settled the overall winner ones. Jill Stein is 25k up in 3rd, but I know they are still doing the original count in some areas as several House seats still haven’t been called.

Maybe you can find out why the electoral wagers, the winner of the election, etc have all been settled then? It makes zero sense to me why the popular vote would be outstanding but all of the other wagers related to the election (and calculated from the same popular vote numbers) would be settled?

It’s the fact that they already graded Trump as winner and Harris as loser that makes it seem arbitrary. If they were truly waiting for “official results”, then nothing should be graded

I can understand that. There is also a 4 million vote lead vs 25k vote lead. I hope they don’t wait until all states have officially certified them, because like you said, some have already been settled without official results, but I guess that’s their right to do so, and I figure that ANYONE who places Political Wagers with Bovada or anyone else is aware that it could be a bit before any “official” results. Hopefully the court cases are minimal as that is also another delaying factor.

I guess the fact they they don’t tell us who the source for declaring the “officially declared winner” is, is what gives them control. Because, I don’t know about you, every outlet I check has officially declared him the winner.

Him, yes, which is likely why they have settled those, but I haven’t seen anyone “officially” declare all the placements, #1 - #5 in popular vote… Mainly because neither the AP or anyone else besides Betting Folks care about the #2 - #10 finishers, lol.

Bovada is the only book that is acting like this and you all use one of only a couple of scoring services as an offshore which makes it even more strange. This doesn’t make any sense and in all honesty, makes people speculate that there are some bigger, underlying issues going on. If you have the money to pay us, then why would you not put the rumors to bed and just pay us? Going on 72 hours of non-payment and every hour that goes by adds fuel to the rumors. No company would purposely damage its brand so it makes a lot of us wonder, what’s the real reason for not gving so many of us our money. Our money, not yours. With many states legalizing sports betting, we all know this kills offshores. You and I both know you don’t want to and cannot compete with Vegas. Add in the worst customer service and the way you treat (weak bonuses, no little gifts, no nothing) very loyal, long time customers and it’s not a good scenario. Very little makes sense in the way of any other, rational explanation for the inordinate delay other than something more going on. The industry got crushed by the line being -140 for Trump to win for way too long when in actuality, the line should have been -250 or more to start election day. Real shaky line at -140 and Trump and underdog in MI and WI but thank you. Same with the electoral college plays, the industry got killed on all the electoral college plays where he dominated, also not seen coming by some evidently. Sweeps of battlegrounds, blow out wins, individual states that were way underestimating how much 73MM+ people love MAGA. Bad news for the industry I know for a fact.

Yep. Had a book offer me a 150% bonus today and they specifically referenced bovada not paying out. So word is getting aorund quickly. Brilliant decisions by whoever is making them. Ya’ll playing with fire as we like to say here in the south.

also, you sent me an email offering a 100% bonus on my next deposit for the Paul/Tyson fight. Then, I guess because I pretty much don’t believe anything that comes out of any Bovada rep’s mouth right now, I went into my rewards. Guess what??? The same bonus in there says 50%. SHOCKING! Do you guys do this bait and switch stuff on purpose OR is it another example of complete incompetence? I’ll wait for the answer but neither are good. Maybe just go with incompetence because going the dishonesty route likely would not sit real well with us all right now.
WHAT has happened to what used to be one of the best books around? This is a serious question because EVERY move ypou guys have made for 24+ months (cutting bonuses dramatically, no incentive for long time loyal players, no more little gifts/replacement program, technical website issue after issue after issue after issue, throwing bonuses out that say one thing but really mean another, this election debacle, rude “customer service” people abound, etc. Let’s just start with that list…
