The wager started 3 hours before listed start time and line doesn’t cancel/void?
@moderators Can someone explain this to me. I placed a live wager of Detroit Tigers -4.5, reviewed it, and confirmed by clicking “Place Bets”. As its processing, it changes to -5.5 and locks in -5.5. I immediately contact the customer service chat and told the agent that this is a mistake and I did not place a -5.5 wager. It was -4.5 and should have cancelled my bet instead of processing the new line. I was told that nothing can be done because “Lines are subject to change” and “be careful of line movement”.
If thats the case, then why does it matter what line I try to bet live. Because it could process something completely different???
@benbray111, We understand the frustration this has caused, as no one wants to go through this. This problem occurs when the line has already been updated but your browser has stale server data. When you place your bet, the data is refreshed, and the bet is placed at the current line. As you are aware, the problem you encountered is not common, as you would normally receive an error when placing a line that has already been changed.
