The site is definitely at risk of losing people. Probably already lost some. Humans are creatures of habit. A lot of players who play here went elsewhere yesterday and created new accounts, got monster first time deposit bonuses on easily winnable bets with big playthrough . Now theyre there til they playthrough. Once that happens most will stay there since thats what thryre used to now
Its why places do " bet 10 dollars to win 1000 if any team scores in the game " type props for new accounts
They know once youre there a week or so youre not going anywhere
So yeah Bovada will need to do a pretty large comp to get everyone back or they can just take it in the shorts and write off their losses
But theres already probably thousands of customers looking at a different book right now for their bets tonight because they won 2k on Mahomes throwing for more than 1 yard last night

Has anyone made a community pool on what they think the compensation will be? One must imagine it will be pretty nice.

Itll either be a lot ( to try and regain the people who went elsewhere in the time they were down ) or absolutely nothing ( to minimize loss as theyve already likely lost a ton )
The smart thing is huge point drops with big rollover but with this site my guess is they do the latter and its nothing or next to nothing

I say they convert this back to a retro 50’s book, have the customer service team bookmake for us, and if you don’t pay up @Matty_Bovada makes house calls to break some knees
The issue for the site is the longer it takes to get back up the less likely they arw to recoup the cistomers theyre losing to ither books even if they compensate . Personally for me i already uee like 5 or 6 books. I spend more time here than other places but thats literally only because of the community here
Lots of customers arent in the community so theyll have no issue switching pernanently if the outage takes more time. Many wont even check back here once theyre somewhere else
If Bovada is going to compensate ( 50/50 at best ) itd behoove them to have the cash or points in peoples accounts before the site goes back online
The people who left or are considering leaving will be far more likely to remain gone if the site comes back online and customers are greeted with nothing.

I agree with you, but from the posts I have seen, I don’t think they even have access to their admin programs / consoles on their side either, so they would have to extend the outage even longer once they regain access to load compensation, especially if it’s individualized (which I think it should be, based on 6 months of deposits or last month of deposits or amount wagered over a certain time period) and not just a canned compensation for everyone (which isn’t how they typically handle things), so I could see the compensation taking a little bit to load, but hopefully they have begun those discussions and have a plan in place to execute when they do restore service.
I picture the whole mod team going door to door in one of those extendo movie set golf carts, capping knees and demanding you finish the 10x rollovers before calling to withdraw
