Honestly I only feel bad for the mods and agents / hosts. They always end up bearing the backlash for people who are overcompensated and incompetent in upper level management
That was my only problem with this whole situation. It was essentially a hammer taunting a nail.
I appreciate you lending perspective to the situation. I have nothing else to say honestly. We spoke our piece and weâre moving on. The unfortunate thing is that this thread has devolved into two sides fighting. Itâll all blow over and weâll all see we were being irrational.

To make matters worse look at what the public was backing on that game: KC and Over. Think it was something like public was 65% on Chiefs and almost 70% on the overâŚhaha definitely saved us money with both of those hitting!!

Yes I actually do agree with this, just was kinda blind-sided at the time and felt like they were attempting to limit discussion. Seems that it was done for the right reasons.

Asshole72976 is getting what he wants: attention. Obviously heâs a narcissist who thinks the world is all arranged around him, and when something happens that he canât control, and everyone doesnât jump when he whines, it drives him crazy. His parents must have spoiled him something awful. âYouâre so special, son!â 
Hopefully once the site is back up heâll calm down and return to his addiction, figuring out where next to demonstrate his gambling prowess (and how much his next deposit should be).

All that tech info is exactly what some on this forum have been screaming for. And your response is exactly what I was expecting to read: what the hell does all that mean? Thatâs the point. None of us need to know the details. Any details. We need to know if theyâre up or down, when they anticipate being back up, and we need to begrudgingly accept âI donât knowâ as a valid answer. IT is extremely complex and hardware/software issues in one component affect the operation of many others. And theyâre not always simple to troubleshoot; no IT engineer understands in detail and is responsible for all the components; it takes a team. We can be unhappy about it, but as someone who had a career in IT, both technical and management, I know that regardless of how frustrating it is for the users (and believe me itâs 100 times as frustrating and stressful for management who has to take shit from everybody when something like this happens), shit happens and sometimes itâs not clear exactly what caused what shit to happen. The mod just listed a few categories of turds. He likely doesnât know what they mean any more than you do. Itâs what the IT people told him, mostly so he could relay that to the idiots âdemandingâ to know exactly what happened. And they demand this while the IT people are trying to figure that out. They probably know categories right away, but the âwhyâ is what people want to know. Like âspace shuttle solid rocket booster O-rings.â Well, they donât know thatâs what it is until they do. And unlike an exploded space shuttle, once they know they can fix it.
Your (legit) question highlighted the pointlessness of continually demanding answers from the mods to unanswerable questions while the system was down.
If you really paid out on that Iâd put you into bankruptcy cuz they certainly not gonna be up soon
