It’s better to have a working product than a product which goes down later patience is the key. We lose a lot and we win good but support team gives us pearks like free spins and offer. They do everything when we are scammed. Have faith in the bovada and I wish all you guys win good today

Why is there no in-between? Saying nothing would of course be concerning, but saying the same thing (we’re making progress) over and over is also concerning, because it is really saying nothing. One initial tweet that said what Freak suggested would have satisfied me, because I would know then that problem could take days.

I don’t even care about what they give us for this as much as I’m due a big ol mystery points drop and I’m itching to see if I was scheduled for one this week (normally get mine on a Thursday or Friday)

Exactly one tweet with a a ton of transparency. Not asking a whole lot. We screwed up. Maybe a description of what went wrong and honestly on when it should be fixed. If you don’t have a time frame I am totally fine with that too. But damn just say we goofed up and its bad. This could take several days to fix. Instead of inching, moving, clawing. Just come out a frickin say it. Its bad and it will take a while to fix. Probably days. Possibly a week to get 100 percent back.

I just want to be able to slam the Pats tonight! Stevenson 2 tds loading !

Funny! (except they don’t need to flee the country; your money has always been out of the country with no recourse if they just steal it)

Except IT technical people seldom know it’s going to be down for days. While they’re troubleshooting, they’re gradually peeling the onion one layer at a time. Simple problems are usually fixed pretty quickly, and at least they have a decent idea of how long that will take to fix. When there’s a catastrophic shitstorm, which seems like appropriate description of this failed upgrade, they’re in uncharted territory. No one likes what we’ve been through, but you also wouldn’t like it (nor would Bovada!) if every time some issue occurred the said ā€œWe have technical problems and it could take many days to resolve.ā€ if all they needed to do is reboot some servers. We’re expecting a brain surgeon to tell us exactly when the surgery will be over and how long it will take the patient to be normal again after taking a large caliber round through the skull.

who has called bovada to check balance and to see what compensation bonus will be?

You just said the can tell the difference between simple problems and shitstorms, so why can’t they make a tweet that reflects that?

So they don’t know it will be days but know they are ā€œinching closer to a resolutionā€ :man_shrugging:. Maybe your right transparency might be the words we have know idea.

Because the Twitter person isn’t IT?

If I’m having brain surgery, they better be real with me and give me the longest of their expectations for me to be out. Not, ā€œwell it may just be a couple of hours, we think. Now let’s look in that head of yours.ā€

At this point, I would think they are past the software portion of the problem. Now it’s to get the server back in order. Based on the errors, the server is the current issue.

It would make sense but this is technology for you. Like I stated earlier, a better response and how it was handled in a communication aspect was more bothersome than the overall issue itself.

If the twitter person isn’t consulting with IT before tweeting, the tweets are completely worthless? Or am I missing something?

Definitely worthless. I totally agree with you bud.

It means the it department could have said and explained exactly what their doing and the Twitter person would have to figure out how to convey that…and couldn’t. Being a promo person does not mean you know anything about software or hardware technology.

I AM going to be having surgery in 5 weeks. I’ve been told it could take 2 hours or could take up to 12 because of what the surgeon will encounter when he opens my neck. I have a chance of losing my voice temporarily or losing it permanent. I might have to learn how to swallow again. Hell I might not wake up at all. No one knows until it’s all over.
