Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson

An exciting match is happening this Saturday at 12 AM. Do you think that celebrity boxer Jake Paul has what it takes to handle a knockout specialist like Mike Tyson? I personally don’t think that Jake Paul has it in him, as celebrity boxing is not real boxing (in my opinion).

Don’t forget to place your bets on this hot matchup. Lines can be accessed here.

Jake will win, he is young and boxing favors the young.

tyson knocks him out in the 2nd : )

Sorry I don’t think so, if Jake does not win, it’s going to be real competitive, just my opinion.

if tyson don’t knock him out in first 2 rounds tyson is done … think jake just dances around and tires him out and wins on descion… gonna be a great fight either way …

So you think Jake’s stamina will win over Tyson’s skill?

not in the first 2 rounds lol… but later on jake will be the fresher fighter for sure…

Tyson is by far the most overrated heavyweight of all time

He won his titles in the mid 80s ( worst era of heavyweights ever ) by heading a tomato can named Trevor Berbick

He then spent 3 years dodging the only other heavyweight from the late 80s who wasn’t complete ass ( Holyfield ) before he lost to a journey man , average fighter Buster Douglass

Mike had 3 fights in his entire career that were against guys who could be seen as legit heavyweight championship level fighters ( 2 vs Evander and 1 vs Lennox ) and got absolutely clobbered in all 3 of those fights

The best win of his entire career was over a 40 year old Larry Holmes

All that said … Mike is still a top 30-50 heavyweight of all time and Jake Paul is a YouTuber who lost the only fight he’s ever had vs an actual professional boxer ( Tommy Fury )

The only way Jake wins is if he runs the entire fight and uses his youth and speed to wear an old as hell Tyson down. If he tries to stand and punch with Mike he’s going to get his block knocked off ( power is the last thing to go, if it ever does )

I’m going to watch it because i think it will be fascinating to see if Paul is smart or if he actually believes his own hype that he’s a real elite boxer

You usually say things that makes sense on this site but all I had to read was the 1st sentence to not waste time reading the rest , I totally disagree with you on this :x::x::x::x::100::100::100: Mike Tyson is definitely 2nd best all time behind Ali ( Cassius Clay)

I typically could care less about boxing, but Mike Tyson was and is one of the few fighters I care to watch. I am pretty pumped for this fight. Might even throw a wager on Tyson. I really hope this doesn’t look scripted….

This fight makes me thing of this scene from “Rocky Balboa”

Duke: You know all there is to know about fighting, so there’s no sense us going down that same old road again. To beat this guy, you need speed - you don’t have it. And your knees can’t take the pounding, so hard running is out. And you got arthritis in your neck, and you’ve got calcium deposits on most of your joints, so sparring is out.

So, what we’ll be calling on is good ol’ fashion blunt force trauma. Horsepower. Heavy-duty, cast-iron, piledriving punches that will have to hurt so much they’ll rattle his ancestors. Every time you hit him with a shot, it’s gotta feel like he tried kissing the express train. Yeah! Let’s start building some hurtin’ bombs!

I’m old enough to remember watching Tyson when he started fighting.
And back then, it didn’t matter who he fought or how bad his competition
was. It was an epic event that most every sportsfan looked forward to.
Why? Because of the excitement of a potential knock out.
I grew up in NW Indiana & a few miles from my house was a venue called
the Holiday Star Theatre. 3400 seats where they held concerts ect.
But, a few times they would broadcast the Tyson fights before there was
pay per view. It was when they weren’t on regular tv.
Charged $20 a seat and the place was always packed.
It was awesome. A true event.

That went pretty much how i expected it to go if Paul had any sense

Father Time is still unbeaten

It was quite the disappointment. :unamused:

My prediction was tysons only chance was knockout in first 3 rounds. Ridiculous though even calling jake paul a boxer until he beats somebody even remotely credible. Kudo to him making millions upon millions of dollars with these gimmick fights

The single most disappointing fight in the history of boxing, (in my book). Like why come out of retirement and tarnish your legacy. He didn’t even try. :frowning:

The answer to this is simple. The gasoline of the world that makes it keep going… $$$. A large payday from just creating content. I can’t believe Sportsbooks still take wagers on the WWE Jake Paul nonsense.
