Hi All,
In the world of boxing, there is a new trend known as influencer boxing, in which social media influencers enter the ring to demonstrate their fighting abilities. While this occurrence may draw enormous crowds and earn significant income for promoters, it raises concerns about the sport’s credibility.
Influencers lack the years of intense training and devotion that professional boxers must experience to acquire their level of proficiency. Furthermore, allowing influencers to compete with recognized athletes undermines the legitimacy of boxing as a proper competitive effort.
When the focus shifts from great fighters to engaging personalities, the artistry, technique, and discipline that constitute professional boxing are diluted. As a result, influencer boxing appears to be a show geared to profit on transient internet popularity rather than an authentic representation of the sport from a professional standpoint.
