Hey Everyone,

Welcome to our 2025 NFL Community Survivor Pool — with $5,000 in prizes up for grabs!

For those who have done a survivor pool in the past, it should be relatively similar.

To participate you must join in week one as you will not be able to join in afterwards.

To those who are new to it, here are a few things for you to know:

  1. You make one pick each week and if your pick loses or ties, you will be eliminated. If your team wins, you will move on to the next week.
  2. You must choose a new team each week. Choosing a team in any given week that you’ve already picked in a previous week will get you eliminated. (For example, if you’re still in by week 10, that means you should have chosen 10 different teams). So you have to plan accordingly.
  3. Your pick will have to be selected before the start of the football week; so you have until 1 hour before the first game of the week to get your picks in. Any picks submitted after the deadline will not count, and no exceptions will be given.

More specifics to our survivor pool:

  1. The Prize pool will be a winner take all and the amount will be $5000 in bonuses! If by week 18 there are still a few people left then the prize pool will be split among all players left.
  2. If all remaining players get knocked out in the same week then we will carry it over another week and they will all still be alive but the team they chose will not be able to get picked again. (For example; all 10 people left in week 14 have a losing pick; then all 10 will still be alive the following week.)
  3. If for any reason, you cannot submit your pick through the community survivor page (technical issues, etc.) you can email your pick to moderator@bovada.lv but again, it must be received before the deadline; no exceptions. If you email a pick and make a selection in the Poll, your Poll Pick is what will count.
  4. If you select a team and that game is canceled and not rescheduled for that same week after the deadline of submitting picks; it will result in a pass to the next week but you will not be able to select that team again. If the game is canceled and re-scheduled before the deadline of submitting your picks then you must select a new team. Failing to select a new team will result in elimination.
  5. All players must be forum members and have an active account, should any player be removed from the forum for any reason, or no longer have an active account, they will lose the ability to play going forward.

IMPORTANT Voting will close at 7.15PM ET on Thursday September 25th. Entries will NOT be accepted after the poll has closed.

I wouldn’t trust whoever is in charge of this contest
I’m sure there’s people eliminated who are still in this because they’re still able to vote

Idk but the mods assured us that whoever was eliminated in past weeks yet still continue to vote are out regardless of the fact. It just makes the poll cluttered and harder to track moving forward.

By my tally, 122 survived so far. I compared all three lists of voters and their results, eliminating anyone who didn’t pick winners all 3 weeks. The mods said they’ll eventually post the list. As already noted in many posts on this thread, it’s likely far more than 122 will vote this week. That’s annoying, since we survivors would like to see how the contest is progressing each week, and having dozens of ineligible voters voting each week is just distracting noise we’d rather not have. But if the mods are unwilling or unable to set up the polls that way, as they were in the past, we’ll just have to tolerate that. As @Paul_Bovada said last week, when the contest is nearing its end they’ll validate that only true survivors are eligible to win or share in the $5,000. You can also rest assured that the other TRUE survivors will ALSO audit that list! :rofl: There is 0.000000% chance that anyone will get a penny out of this contest who hasn’t picked all winners (and submitted them on time) starting week 1. So we can relax and just control what we can control: our own votes.

No, no eligible voters voted on the MNF game. Neither of the Ravens voters were in the contest. The list I posted Sunday night was complete. If you check that list you’ll find the two Ravens voters didn’t pick winners every prior week.

Ah nice catch on that, I’m trying my best to keep tabs as well but it’s quite cluttered with the non eligible voters. Thanks for your help regardless.

A few hours ago they posted the week 3 survivors list. It showed 127 remaining. I had 122, but it appears there were a few email voters over the first 3 weeks that weren’t initially listed. But you’ve gotta love the patriotism of Bovada contestants! 127 eligible voters and with 19 minutes to go before polls close we’re at 130 votes! I’m 99% sure that Russian hackers are voting! We need a special prosecutor! :rage: :rofl: :money_mouth_face:
