I’m writing to express my concern about a sudden and unexplained change to my account betting limits.

Until yesterday, I was able to place substantial wagers on college football, NFL, and basketball without any issues. I have been an active customer with a significant betting history on your platform. However, as of today, I’m unable to place bets exceeding $100 on any of these sports.

This change occurred without any prior notification or explanation from Bovada. I have not received any emails, account messages, or other communication regarding this limitation.

I would greatly appreciate if someone could:

  1. Explain the reasoning behind this sudden limit reduction
  2. Clarify whether this is a temporary or permanent change
  3. Provide information on what steps, if any, I can take to have my previous betting limits restored
  4. Let me know if there are any account verification or compliance issues that need to be addressed

I value my relationship with Bovada and would like to continue betting at my usual levels. Please advise on how to resolve this matter.

While we understand the importance of wagering limits, any adjustments—whether increases or reductions—are made at the sole discretion of our Book Managers.

will these limits be re evaluated in the future?
has anyone had similar issue

It is possible they will be re-evaluated, but as Lillian said, this is at the discretion of the book manager so not really something we can provide any additional information on.
