Yes, I know this first round isn’t over until the three Sunday games are over, but I already know the winners in 4 of the 8 matchups, so like the networks do for elections when they declare a winner before the poll workers have even started counting votes, here’s where we stand after the first 15 of the 25 games:

One of the other contests has just a 1 game difference:

luckytiti and Camelwak1257 are in a dead heat 9-9 and will finish in a tie! They have all the same picks from here on out, so it will come down to a tiebreaker for that contest!
CLew21 and Jajaoly are also in a dead heat 9-9, but have different picks for the Texas v Texas A&M game, so there will be an outright winner in that contest.
And in the remaining contest, ngiftakis and Showtime7 are tied 8-8 and have made different picks for 2 of the remaining games, so that one’s still up in the air.

), it’ll come down to the tiebreaker. Cardsfan81 guessed 153, nrunkel 141. My personal coin flip landed on nrunkel, so you know who I’m rooting for. (Nothing personal Cardsfan81; we had to pick somebody!)
. But if Marist wins, we go to the tiebreaker. Showtime7 guessed 132, ngfitakis guessed 133. So that would come down to another nail biter. My prediction: Marist beats St. Peter’s, and Northern Iowa vs. Drake’s total points is 132 or less. Why? Because my bankroll is painfully low and I picked Showtime7. Do I need another reason?
