All players that aren’t there to play should be removed 10 minutes into the tournament.
Granted a player may show up on the table to play. But it isn’t fair to the rest that actually have real players to play and not a table full of sit outs/ no shows…

Doesn’t make me feel better at all and it has nothing to do with who was benefiting. This has been brought up in the past and isn’t fair to the rest of the playing players. Playing players should never be outdone by people that sign up and don’t play.
There’s currently 15 players that are left that never showed up to play.
but you could have just sat and done nothing too. who’s to say the non-playing players aren’t playing more skillfully?
We did adjust the registration timeframe to try and help eliminate that.
Tournaments just don’t run the same as cash games with the ability to sit a player out completely who isn’t acting.
I could sit and do nothing? Let my chips be given to someone else without playing? You’ve missed the entire point.
How can someone that didn’t show up to play be playing skillfully?

To answer your question, yes people have cashed without showing up.

It was usually 48 hours I believe. We adjusted it to a 24 hours
