Our Top 10 finishers for todays tournament. One player was not on the community and finished 7th so we removed them and bumped everyone from 8 to 11 up 1 spot.

I have an idea of what the final standings are and see that two players will tie for ninth with 18 points unless somehow they are passed by someone that earned points today that wasn’t in the top 9 going into today.

By my scoring

Since the final table is 9 players, how will it be determined which of the two that ended at 18 points get in. There should be some kind of tie breaker put in place.

The first thing I would use is number of tournaments played and whoever played the lesser amount would have a higher avg of points per tournament. If they both played the same amount, then I would go to how many people were in each tournament they played. Whoever beat the most players to earn their 18 points would win the tiebreaker. If by some oddity there were the same amount of exact entrants in their tournament, then it’s the ole coin toss to settle it all…

Or before the final tournament is played on Saturday, they can play heads up and the winner qualifies and the other gets a thanks for playing.

Personally I like the latter but that’s your call, if it’s necessary because perhaps someone slipped in with 19 points that was bubbling under the top 9 listed but we never saw the full scoring list.

Thanks for holding this, it has been a fun thing to do over the months.
