Today is the third Monday of the year, which is known as Blue Monday and it is said to be the most depressing day of the year. We’d love to hear some positive highlights that you’ve experienced today.
Mine was that traffic wasn’t intense this morning, it’s the little things that count
Also, stay tuned for an upcoming competition later in the week.
It’s that time, as mentioned on Blue Monday we’ll have a competition. It is pretty simple, just comment on this thread with a positive Blue Monday memory and you’ll be placed in a raffle for a chance to win a $30 bonus with Standard Rollover.
Rules are Basic:
Only one entry will be accepted per player.
To qualify, the winning account must have made at least one deposit.
All correct answers will be entered into a raffle then one winner picked randomly.
The deadline for submissions will be 8:00p ET on January 21st, any submissions after that time will not be accepted.
The bonus will be issued to the lucky winner by the end of the day on January 21st.
Mine would have to be this year actually since it landed on MLK day. We had the day off of work and it snowed where I live at so me and the family got to have a nice day off and play around outside in the snow since we don’t get much snow here at all maybe once every few years that’s enough to cover the ground.
My best Blue Monday experience was finding out my wife was expecting for the first time. She came in the living room in tears, I grabbed my phone and keys ready to fight someone. When she told me I just fell out on the couch lol. I’ll never forget.
Mine was probably that I was off of work-- i run an upscale steakhouse that is a family business and one of my employees/ friends brought my family dinner. Was sweet & unexpected. Definitely got me out of the Monday blues!
I remember it was years back in January as a new year resolution I started doing yoga and that ended helping me a lot through many challenges. Never thought such thing could actually help a person become better.
My positive blue monday memory is having things like this raffle bringing me some fun, and a shot at a prize!!! ( i almost always see contests, raffles, after the deadline, so I’m just happy I’m making the cut off time!)
My positive blue Monday experience from this year was getting outside for a nice 3 mile walk even though it was very cold. Good to fill the lungs with fresh air and get sun on the face! Outdoors always helps.
