There are lots of people who have already been comped for this ( numerous times for amounts will into the high hundreds )

But those players are all hosted and have a person specifically working for them

Ive got dozens of screenshots these people have sent me with their hosts acknowledging the issue and offering comp for it

For the people who aren’t hosted they’ve received nothing as far as I’m aware. At least no one has told me or sent me pics stating they were getting comp

People deserve to know that other players have been comped large amounts for this while they’ve gotten nothing

I understand hosted players are more valued due to the amount they spend but that shouldn’t mean they’re the only ones getting comp for site issues especially issues that have lasted 3+ months

@moderators can you comment? I’ve stopped playing here effectively because of this issue. It’s disgraceful that it’s gotten this far out of and the response from bovada has been nothing short of horrific. There must be something you guys can do for us after Treating your customers this poorly… if it’s nothing you can do… can you put us in contact with someone who can do something?

The actions of the host are beyond our control. If compensation is to be provided for this issue, there is a specific process that must be followed.

@Rmilia1, According to our terms of service, offers should not be shared publicly. While we appreciate your good intentions, violating our terms of service is a serious matter that we do not take lightly.

@Mikey sharing that you guys are treating some customers better than others is against your guidelines? But treating some better than others isn’t? Is that really the stance you guys are taking right now?

Can you please follow this process and provide compensation for the rest of us who aren’t lucky enough to have a host that will do it for us? Or are we just not important enough?

The host team operates differently from regular customer service, as each person has a dedicated account manager overseeing their account. Bonuses are not given out for issues affecting multiple individuals until it has been communicated that compensation should be provided or until confirmation has been sent out that compensation has been added.

The process mentioned specifically pertains to situations where multiple individuals are impacted by an issue. I apologize for any confusion caused by the lack of explanation.

In that case we are all not considered as multiple people. Just go through all the threads were created on this issue and count the number of people reported this. You may not get this but users will loose lot of their balances as they cant find their games they want to play and odds are completely changed by the time they finally place a wager.

So @Mikey… you confirm that it is within bovadas guidelines to treat some customers better than others? Because as I understand what you just wrote, if an issue impacts multiple people and you have a host, you can get compensation, but if you don’t have a host, you can’t. I feel grateful to @Rmilia1 for exposing this fact and frankly pissed off that you guys are trying to hide this so blatantly from your customer base. This lack of transparency is extremely troublesome to me in addition to the technology issues you guys continue to have in multiple areas of the website.

Doesn’t that seem backwards? When an issue arises that affects multiple people shouldn’t all of them get similar treatment? Why do some people get preferential treatment when there is a larger issue like this?

Lastly, how does one become hosted? I’ve been a loyal and regular customer here for many years. I’d love to have a rep who I can reach out to and can fight for me to get better treatment than other players here. Instead I have the support team who constantly lies to me and gaslights me. Am I just not valued as a customer? I’d like to add to this that recently the “call” option had an update. A few years back, my call option disappeared. Is this just another example of me not being as highly valued a customer as others?

In order to address issues affecting multiple individuals, there is a specific process that must be followed to ensure proper compensation is provided. Without clear communication, we are unable to proceed with issuing any bonuses.

But @Mikey you confirmed there are channels the host team can take to address issues like this on an individual basis… and you scolded @Rmilia1 for telling us because it exposed that for some players, bovada is willing to give compensation even when it is for an issue multiple people are experiencing. (Side note here. The first month or two the service department REGULARLY said they couldn’t do anything because this was NOT a sitewide issue… so something here isn’t lining up).

It’s very distressing that this information is gatekept and very clearly hidden from us customers.

As previously mentioned, the host team handles their hosts on a personal basis. The process of how the host issues bonuses is not something we have information on.

Furthermore, in order to become a host, one must receive an invitation.

It seems that your perception is already fixed, regardless of the information you receive. We have already addressed this question and will not do so again. Thank you for your understanding. @rokmsokm

To address your last point, if it’s an invitation basis, you are even further confirming that it is your company policy that some customers are treated better and offered more for being more valued and important. When it comes to an issue many (if not all - I’ve yet to come across someone who hasn’t experienced this issue) are experiencing, doesn’t it seem like the right thing to do to treat ALL customers experiencing the issue the same? Or do the hosted members get to benefit greater off of us laymen having technical issues that they get compensated for while we don’t.

Honestly, I’ve been very complementary lately of all the work you guys as @moderators do, but this feels super shady and I’m trying to get to the bottom of it. My mind is not made up despite what you claim, if you can show me that it’s not true that some customers are valued more than customers like me, and we are all being treated equally for a site wide issue we see all experiencing, I’m very open to hearing that! I’d love for you to confirm that is the case for me, but it feels like it’s not and it’s being hidden from us less important customers.
