Honestly. When bovada is not working properly (a lot)…I get worried to play even when bovada says it’s ok. I don’t want to be deep in a tournament and then it shuts off again. I don’t want to spend -7-10 hours playing for me to be deep in tournament and then just get my money back…(I’ve had this happens multiple times, where I figured id get at least extra money for being so deep). Anyways, I’ll prob be too scared to play on bovada today…good luck whoever does.
I completely understand your concerns, and I’m really sorry you’ve had that experience. It’s frustrating to put in so much time and effort, only for technical issues to interrupt your game, especially in a tournament. I totally get why you’d be hesitant to play under those conditions. We’re actively working to improve stability and ensure a smoother experience for all players.
Are players who won sit and gos last night whose games haven’t been cashed out going to be compensated without having to go through customer service?
I won a tournament last night and the game never closed out and I was never compensated. I went to the chat and was given “bonus funds” which is nice but now I have to play through this 5x times in order to cash out??? So ridiculous. I just want the money I won, not a bonus that I have to play through and hope that I still have funds left over after I finish…

I am currently waiting to be paid for 6 different tournaments. Idk how in the HELL this happened but it really is completely inexcusable. I understand that glitches happen occasionally, but this was on a whole different level. This is the type of thing that could completely destroy the entire poker site.
Bovada must do these three things AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
#1. Fix this utterly inexcusable glitch as quickly as they can.
#2. Ensure that all players are paid out the exact amounts that they are owed for all tournaments that were affected by this (ALSO AS SOON AS POSSIBLE).
#3. Create a public report that details exactly how this happened, and why. Include the steps Bovada took to fix it and any measures taken to ensure something like this never happens again. Also, we need an explanation as to how exactly Bovada tracks these tournaments from their end in order to trust that we are being paid EXACTLY what we should be paid. I shouldn’t have to take dozen’s of screen shots and videos of my status in these tournaments, but I did because Bovada has proven they are totally unaccountable for the issues that come from their end in the past when different bugs have occurred.
I’ve been playing on here for years and this is without any question the most ridiculous incident that has ever happened on this site. THIS SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN ON A MAJOR POKER WEBSITE, PERIOD. END OF STORY.
If this EVER happens again, everyone who plays here should leave and never return. I love playing poker on Bovada, but this absolutely cannot happen again.
The problem is they paid out a lower ranked place when we should have a higher place, the math going to be more difficult to get the exact math right. But it seems like the current tourneys are running just fine now, but I’m not sure how they are going to get the exact numbers from yesterday, are they going to deduct what place they paid out vs what we should’ve had for each tourney? seems tough to do for every player.
We do understand everyone’s concern regarding this. Rest assured, this is thoroughly being looked into by our technical team. I am sorry for any inconvenience caused.
I’ve been waiting for 12 hours now to receive over $500 from 6 different tournaments I’ve cashed in with no idea at all if you guys are going to pay me out correctly for each one of them. I would consider this much more than an inconvenience. Have you guys made any headway at all in figuring this out yet?

Can you promise us that we will all be paid out correctly in the places that we actually finished despite the fact that the entire software seems to have crapped the bed? What steps are you guys currently taking to fix this?
I completely understand your concern. Unfortunately, I don’t have many updates to share at this time, as the matter is still under investigation. However, once it’s resolved, all winnings will be distributed appropriately.

This is f’king crazy. I won the $10 buy in tournament Saturday morning. The one that starts at 4am. Still have not received anything. This is crazy. I have spent a lot of money on this sight. How is this even possible. Was told would be fixed in 4 hours , 2 hours. Sitting at over 48 hours. With nothing new updated.
The craziest part is they are still running tournaments.
We are waiting for an update, they are compiling a list of players who were effected. Once this is done they will credit accounts accordingly.
There is no issue with current tournaments.
