Don’t matter how much money you spent don’t matter how many years you been here bro they don’t care, that’s like staying in a marriage that’s been good for a few years then straight turmoil the past few years

@Cjrubin7 to speak in regards to the compensation received this time as opposed to December?

@moderators Serious question no complaints. Is it normal to get roughly 100 free spins @1.50 and only come away with $100? Honestly the free spins might’ve been over 100. “Rise of Poseidon is the game”

I’m just curious if someone can tell me what the threshold for receiving compensation was? I received nothing. I am not Hall of Fame, though, so was wondering what the prerequisites were.

Hall of fame got 50$ and legend got 40$

Hey Matty I also PMed you back .

But yes Alot of these customers got hundreds of dollars back in December for the outage , lasted less than a week …

This is 3x as long as that outage and like a lot less in compensation for site issues from everyone saying …

I know numerous people got hundreds and fast .

This time around is like …

50 HOF
40 legend
20 like all star or whatever

The most logical explanation to me is that Bovada literally can’t afford to comp any more.

  • Bitcoin is down 50% in the last 6 months. Others cryptos more than that.
  • Their competition is increasing as US states legalize
  • So you cut CS staff, cut IT staff, cut bonuses

We see how that’s working out. They’re going to keep losing customers and keep having to make cuts. They’re in a death spiral.

You would hope they would fairly compensate and aim to retain at least the longest tenured customers and those who deposit the most. But it looks like they can’t even afford to do that.

It was a good run as the best sportsbook. But it seems to me they’ve chosen to retreat and hoard their cash instead of take care of players. I’ve been around since Bodog, have 250,000 in wager activity the past 30 days, etc. If $50 turns out to be their true comp, that makes the decision easy for me. @Matty_Bovada

9 hours wasted of my life in this thread reading 9 million and a half comments

How about some transparency like:

“Over the years Bovada has been an industry leader on player comps. Due to the changing external environment (regulatory, btc price, competition) we need to reevaluate our bonus structure. We know this is going to be a difficult transition but want to be open and honest with the loyal players we value and we will phase these changes in for our long time customers over a 6 week period.”

Instead of something like that. We get cold turkey stop every bonus program we have. Site starts malfunctioning in insane ways and then communicate it with a bunch of random lies depending on who we talk to on any given day and then provide a huge kick in the nuts to compensate for the outage

Something changed…just be transparent.

Just received 20,000 rewards points. I’m a lowly All-Star 2, for what it’s worth. I didn’t expect anything, but I absolutely understand why people are frustrated. I can’t imagine depositing tens of thousands and getting this type of response.

I will forward everyones feedback in regards to that request. Obviously, I am not part of the team that came up with the compensation values so I will reach out and see if more clarity on the situation can be provided.
