Site Stability Updates - 2

Unfortunately its likely more nonsense

Timeline

5/21- dozens of people on community post about issues. Mods answers begin as " no issue on our end . Must be on yours" and then as more people post it morphs into " hmmm ill make our tech team aware"

Over the next 5 days thousands of issues. At this point the site already knows its under attack and says nothing to anyone

5/26- generic banner goes up talking about “tech issues”. Players are comped peanuts

5/27- on the initial Site Stability update post @Johngosch posts that a CS rep let it slip they were under an outside attack. His post is flagged and a mod says its removed because “,its false information”

7 more days of constant issues although theyre slowing . Still no real updates or further comp

6/3- site finally comes clean with another generuc banner. Mods create this thread then largely abandon it

Every day since 5/26 ( 11 days ago ) weve been promised further updates re como " when we know something"

In short the site has treated the money in players accts like its the sites money ( it isnt ) by not being honest about what was occuring and letting the players decide what to do with their oen funds

Worse theyve encouraged and accepted deposits all while knowing the site was under attack ( 5/21 ti 6/3 )

And theyve flagged and removed comments under the pretense of “being false” when they were actually veryyyy much true

That’s about as perfect of a recap as was possible of the last 2 weeks.

Bovada is anything but a scam…what they’re doing is basically stalling to let things die down so the size of the angry mob is reduced. That way if this “fair compensation” is ass, there is less blowback and they can sweep it under the rug and carry on with business.

I find it hard to believe that we’re 3 weeks into it and they’re still “monitoring the situation” all while the Bovada twitter page has made 15 contests giving away money.

Just FYI… His post is still there.

The simple solution to at least keep everyone here at bay is just gather what information you can each day and post an update even if there is none. We literally have gone days without updates for the last 3 weeks and the few times they have given one, it’s extremely vague.

I’ve always said moderators on the forums were great, but they’ve definitely been ass since these issues. People will literally tag them and they still don’t respond in here until it gets bad. All you have to do is go through this thread and you’ll see how many times people here are ignored. Why even have this thread open if you refuse to do your job and answer questions that customers have?

They can only do so much, and when they have no information, why keep responding no information. People obviously like this thread and would want one of these somewhere, so can’t necessarily just get rid of it.
But I would agree its not the best situation. Should have pinned a Moderators Only post somewhere under Website Updates section and made daily updates. For some reason, majority of the people would be ok with just a simple daily update of ‘No Updates’. These threads have gotten out of hand, and everyone is begging for a response… and even when one person gets one early in the day, someone else needs one an hour later because they don’t read. I don’t blame them for not answering every single @ mods post.

They definitely are removing posts/unlisting them for whatever reason. Why, I don’t know but pretty surprised considering they only do it when it’s related to advertising a competitor or someone raging

Well, what he said is also complete nonsense and debunked in under 5 seconds with a Google search.

This was removed because the information presented by the user was completely inaccurate. We do not support confusing or inaccurate details because they do not benefit the Community.

That’s exactly the point I was trying to make…even if there’s no update, it would make a lot of people less frustrated to hear a moderator state it every day. Instead we go 3 days with no update, people have to spam tags to the moderators to get a response that says sorry no update maybe a few more days

lol brother then what is this thread

Not trying to be rude because I get this sucks for you too, and it’s not your fault. But is bovada still claiming it’s a DDOS attack after almost 3 weeks with no end in sight also confusing and inaccurate information?

Totally agreed. They should have done a daily update with moderators only thread. I prefer a “no updates” to not update at all
