All people here want are CONSISTENT updates with TIMELINES. Not “no news” anywhere from 1 to 14 days from the last update. Like others have stated I as well work in IT and security and have NEVER seen any attack last more than a few days let alone 3 weeks. We need some legitimate info or timelines if they don’t want to lose all members, unless that’s the plan and they are going to shut down.

I get moderating if it’s inaccurate information but if you guys can do that why do you choose to continue to ignore people in this thread who are trying to get accurate information?

There has to be a timeline of some sort. How do you guys integrate a completely new jackpot across all sister sites yet have no more information on this.

Can you tell us any kind of answer that is accaurate? People have to speculate because we haven’t been told anything for 3 weeks except “ no update at this time”

My optimistic guess is they aren’t yet confident in fully shutting down future DDoS attacks and they don’t want to give compensation until they are positive it won’t happen again.

Because if they give us comp and then more DDoS attacks happen then they’ll have to give out compensation again.

Regardless two week suspension seems a little much if they weren’t given any warnings. Of course these guys are going to speculate if they can’t get an answer of some sort.

you haven’t provided one damn bit of evidence to persuade anyone to the contrary. just deleting the posts instead of providing actual evidence shows how pathetic you are at reading the room. this is almost as unacceptable as the pathetic lack of communication from the last THREE weeks now.

Bovada now y’all walking a thin line the community was put in place for members to be able to vent ,settle wagers , ask questions and I can understand deleting a post if you don’t believe it fits your company view but to suspend members of a community you put in place does a disservice to all members who might want to voice their opinion but now in fear of being suspended at the discretion of mods. The situation has been handled poorly to say the least and people are frustrated if nothing else reinstate these members and start focusing on the task at hand which is to damage control before it’s too late.

I’m sure the new jackpot feature had been planned for a while, and DDoS attacks as described by mods (i’m no expert) wouldn’t prevent that new jackpot feature from functioning properly, just the site as a whole disconnecting for varying periods.

Only place Bovada will be going is to the last Sportsbook I will use, if we don’t get an answer soon, as in the next day.

To expand on that (once again from the perspective of optimism) would be that the mod team was asked by management to not provide specific timelines, because they’re uncertain on the permanent solution and don’t want to give out a false timeline.

I.E. “We will give comp Wed” then the site disconnects due to DDoS attack Thursday.

I was going to wait till the end of the week and see if things got better, but now loyal members to Bovada and forum are getting suspended? Just because they’re providing what we all know is true already?
