Lets do the math
This site gets roughly 3.4 million visitors per month
Every day that goes by without resolution or comp theyre losing players and deposits
Even if only 3% of their customer base leaves thats 102k customers
Lets say each of those 102k people only loses 200 bucks per month here ( likely a low estimate )
Thats 20 4M per month theyre losing
252M per year
Even if they gain new users theyre still not recouping that money
Lets say they give out 250 on average in comp to all 3.4 million users
Thats 850M in free play
The vast majority of people are going to lose the comp before they hit playthrough
The ones who do hit playthrough most arent going to automatically cash out and will lose it all eventually and even those who do cashout most will end up redepositing
Literally the ONLY way this costs Bovada long term money is if they lose clients pernanently to other sites. And that only happens if they dont take care of them
IF Bovada goes cheap ( or not at all ) on comp it points to them valuing short term gain over long term stability and thats only a viable plab for a company if they dont plan on being around long term in which case why would a player wabt to stay?

Me personally I played 300k of action the last 31 days and lost about 20k during this outage. I was stupid enough to continue to deposit with all the latency and site problems. Nothing says degen like continuing to play a slot game that keeps refreshing you out, the animation constantly lagging and freezing, and the live betting latency issues that put in a diff line than what you were seeing.
I donât consider myself a whale or a big player by any means, but even for what I play, the compensation last year for the few days of outage was like $50-300 (higher end) and that was no where near good enough for me. I really donât know how theyâll compensate the more high stakes guys but I would hope it is fair because thatâs what mods have continued to reiterate.
