Site Stability Updates

I actually have enjoyed the break from Bovada and this thread has been useful for me. Fun banter.

Woke up to an ā€œupdateā€ from Bovada… which was really just that they still don’t have any info. Do you think the people that work for this site realize how shitty it’s being run, or is this site most of these people’s first job and/or only option for employment so they can’t speak out against the company and risk getting fired? The last part of this message was the funniest. My ā€œrelationshipā€ with bovada went from main chick to an out of town side piece early last year when they clearly changed the player rewards system without informing anyone. And I told them as much via email. I will tell you this now @Paul_Bovada your management team has cooked its relationship with every customer you have over the last 2 weeks. There’s no other way around it. The non-existent communication during these issues is something I warned about in multiple emails to the moderators and CS mailboxes earlier this year. If you guys could read some of those emails you would think I was the mf Oracle. I sent these people email after email with recommendations of how to make this site run better because I like playing here. I also stressed every time that they simply do not listen to the customers, which is obviously still true. Everything that’s happened was avoidable. You just have to wonder if the people that run the site behind the scenes are even smart enough to realize how bad they are at running this site since we cannot reach them.

I think people should stop using their service until they actually do something, I know damn well I’m not relying on that free handout because god knows when we’re gonna get it, if they can’t even give us an estimated time within 2 weeks who knows when they will actually compensate us. Seeing as nobody is reporting issues with the site anymore, it looks like bovada is waiting to provide compensation at their own discretion and will probably wait until it’s most convenient for them to give us compensation, probably sometime after nhl and nba playoffs are over with so that people will have basically no sports to wager on and will be forced to lose it in the casino instead.

They will ride that stability banner for as long as they can to avoid any kind of compensation if they even plan on issuing any

I’m sure they have this shit calculated out to a T, every sports book has their own statisticians and they are probably trying to mitigate the risk of people going up big on these compensations so they can walk away basically unscathed from having to compensate all their customers.

Yeah but at this point they also know they’re about to dish out minimum $500-1K to long time players/ HOF / big spenders like myself so it is certainly a lot of money. That said… they also know if they wait another 2 wks they’ll drive some ppl off the site and will go elsewhere. So it is just a matter of time if they drag their feet

Even all their sister sites. I can’t reach any live agents on any of them. Man I wish I lived in a state that allowed draft kings. You never hear of this stuff on that website

That’s because it’s regulated. These people only have to answer to themselves.

Ultimately gambling is either an addiction for people or a habit for people

Bovada is banking on you being an addict. An addict cant control themselves and will continue to give the site their money even though they know its not smart

If its only a habit for you then you can restrain from doing it or do it elsewhere

Every dollar Bovada gets while all this is ubresolved is a dollar they dobt have to spend on customer retention . If youre depositing here right now all youre doing is being complicit in all this shit

Bovada is a well calculated multi national corporation. If they were to suddenly disappear with our money and take it all, what would we do? I’ll tell you what we could do. Most likely absolutely nothing. Nobody knows what exact country they are based in and any American trying to sue the company would have little to no chance of finding an actual entity to sue. They run at their own discretion and unfortunately nobody can control them because they’re so god damn mysterious.

Honestly this whole fiasco has really helped control my gambling addiction by not depositing these last few days

Ya I’ve slowed down a lot and might keep it this way. I’m just tired of these games and wish there was an alternative

…lol

I got $1,200 for last year’s outage.

So I’m not sure you are correct there bud

But I also spend more than some peoples salaries so there is that.

I got 300…but i feel those days are long gone…we shall see

I am right there with you. Weekly spend is through the roof unfortunately riddled with losses. They won’t even give me any free play or any points etc. it’s getting ridiculous.

If the overall feeling of this thread turned to ā€œlooking for an alternativeā€, it would go a long way in getting answers from Bovada. Because right now, the sentiment in this thread is ā€œcan I please have more money to lose on your site?ā€ That gives Bovada no pause for concern.

Yep. It is rare now that I’m somehow not hosted but I do still every once in awhile and I’ll give them credit the point drops I usually get once every 7 to 10 days again . Was more like 20 days for awhile

Looks like they will not be giving anymore compensation. See below:

  • 07:23:04Valeria B.As I said before, the reward points is the compensation we did for all this issues.

  • 07:23:19Danielbut that was only 2 days into issue

  • 07:23:34Danieland we are over 10 days
