I think the issue is the confusion that occurred because the bottom of the post had said said " poll will close " and then switched to “topic will close” which to me insinuated that the poll was now closed

This wouldn’t inherently matter other than this particular contest also included the caveat that only the first person who picked a set of numbers would get that set and anyone else who picked it would not count

So it behooved people to pick the numbers they wanted early

Just an unfortunate confluence of events it appears and even now we still have people picking numbers without assigning them to teams lol

I don’t envy you trying to wade your way through it all

Heck, Rob, I hope @Rhyz_Bovada pulls his hair out on this contest. Stupidest concept ever. The only point to it seems to be to make the mod feel clever and smarter than the players. That’s not what these contests should be about. But whatever… If they want to run contests to make everybody pissed off, maybe that’s a good business model. :roll_eyes:
