Totally agree with that definition. 53 eliminated three weeks ago when Jets beat Titans, and 20 more when Giants beat Saints. 78 total that week.
Only 5 eliminated the last two weeks combined. (Although there were 16 no-shows the past two weeks by my calculations, so that helps.)

Yup. The no shows are definitely surprising at this point but the field is thinning slow for now.
Probably starting next week we will see more significant movement

Next week starts to get problematic, at least it sure does for me. Iām not sure who to pick.
I have avoided the Chiefs thus far because theyāre so mediocre, but I was thinking of picking them next week to beat the Giants. I think thatās become a big no for me at this point even if Mahomes plays. When he left the game today, he looked like he wasnāt sure what sport he was playing.
Regardless, the Chiefs donāt look capable of beating any top half teams, so after next week, thereās no one else left on their schedule Iād dare pick them to beat. Even at Arrowhead, I think itās iffy to pick them to beat the Giants.

Yeah I mapped out chiefs for next week but not touching them now. Gonna roll with the Bengals.
Bengals>Jets sound like a good choice. Unfortunately, I used them in week 4 to beat the Jaguars. One of the many (or at least it feels like it) games Iāve picked thus far that was won by a last minute field goal. My picks donāt inspire a lot of confidence when it takes an NFL-record field goal bouncing over the crossbar to keep me in this contest!

Iāve still got the Bills left, but I hate to waste them on the Dolphins.
This is all moot if the Rams donāt pull out a W against the Lions. Theyāre losing at the moment!

Seahawks isnt bad but i dont trust them with Geno. Then again my strategy has been to take for the most part the biggest favorite i can week to week. Bills and Rams are already gone for me.
If nobody was involved in tonightās game and tomorrow nights game couldnāt they get week 8 prepared and up early for the peps complaining about not enough time?
i think the people complaining about not having enough time by now are out of the competition.
ācouldā and āshouldā are two different things.
The picks are up more than 48 hours prior to the deadline. You can check the schedule now and figure out your pick. Thereās no surprises; the mods just list the scheduled games.
It litereally just takes a few seconds to make the pick sometime over that 48+ hour span. Click one button. I think we can all manage. And the mods shouldnāt change things mid season.

You arenāt going to see a lot eliminated unless an upset or two takes place. This will more than likely go to the final week and the prize chopped. I havenāt seen very many eliminators not go all the way to the end.

Letās stop being so salty about a free competition. Itās the bovada mods that made this competition possible so they decide. Quit telling them what to do and what not to do. Make your pick every week and worry not about other stuff.

the upsets will come, its still early in the season and the good teams are coming off the board for everyone now.
