& I was told 24-48 hours which has passed & still nothing
I can’t either, my speculation is somewhere-along the way, the address generated was hacked and someone put a different address and stole the money.
If the funds were still in Bovada’s possession, they could’ve just asked for documentation of the deposit, confirm it on their end, and manually credit each account. It’s a pain to do, but it’s never the customer’s fault that the website glitched while we were trying to DEPOSIT.
My small business team of 3 engineers and 2 interns would’ve had that issue wrapped up in less than 12 hours. Probably 8 hours if customers were assisting with the documentation and screenshots of the addresses.
There’s definitely something more going on, especially if some agents are saying these addresses aren’t Bovada’s.
I’m pushing 52 hours on my end now.
Anyone get theres yet i seen a few not many and what format did you use
I still have yet to receive anything as far as my deposit goes. received 25k points, that should be for every day i am having to wait. i want to deposit again, but i want my initial to not be forgotten about either.
I am not into doom posting, but you seem to be more technically knowledgeable in such matters since you run a business with engineers. Worst case scenario, what would be the motive of Bovada saying our funds are safe if in fact it was another party who took our deposits and thus irrecoverable unless they reimburse it?
Well most reputable books, with enough documentation and confirmation that these funds were actually sent (they can search through the transactions since we provide the hash and wallet address) would actually just pay out these “lost” funds ASAP to keep our business.
I think the scary part is that they said our funds were secure 24 hours ago, but the script changed and the last 24 hours they have been saying there’s no guarantee we’ll get our funds because the wallet isn’t theirs.
That on top of the fact none CS agents/moderators have a clue what’s going on, feels like we might just lose our money and this gets swept under the rug. Unfortunately it’s only a smaller pool of their base that was affected, so it’s up to them whether they want to deal with reimbursing these “lost” funds or potentially lose a small pool of customers.
I just got told I’m SOL on my LTC deposit. They said “the address was not provided” I’ve made hundreds of deposits and always copy/paste and has always been fine until there was a big issue on their side. Now all the sudden it’s my mistake! I know I’m done with bovada and will take my business elsewhere
I and a bunch of others were told the same thing. I actually used the “Launch Bitocoin Wallet” button so it actually automatically copies and pastes it for me and they’re still claiming the address wasn’t provided by them.
Sorry, realized I didn’t even technically answer your question.
Motive is simply so other customers aren’t discouraged from depositing and using their site. That part I understand from a business perspective because you don’t want to scare off the other customers, but leaving us in the dark for over 54+ hours and counting looks pretty bad on them.
Unfortunately, once again from what I read on this thread it’s only a 4 hour time span of deposits that were affected and it was a Monday so most of the customer base is unaffected and quite frankly won’t care if this gets swept under the rug.
THey just want us affected to calm down, hoping we move on from the loss of money? I cannot and will not move on from losing thousands of dollars because of a glitch or technical problem on their website
I mean have you seen the screenshots being sent with chat agents the last 24 hours? The script went from secure and safe to “This isn’t our address, there’s no guarantee you’ll get your money.”
Like I said earlier, I’ve been with them for 7+ years, HOF status. I’ve referred people with my account, so many that my host told me to look into the Ambassador program so I could get more people.
I’ve withdrew/deposited 10k+ with no issues, and they have always been my go to book for as long as I’ve been sports betting and playing poker.
I’m with you though, I don’t plan on depositing another cent until this gets sorted out.
I have made some hefty deposits and just over the last month alone I have placed over 100k in bets. I’m sure I’m far from the big fish but it’s a substantial amount to me. Even if this is an isolated incident there is no way I will ever trust this site again if not reimbursed. No second chances when it comes to issues like this and one would be ignorant to do so in my opinion.
I am curious. Is the banner that says Bovada is “aware some have issues with their deposits… funds are secure… working hard to resolve problem” visible to everyone who logs in the site or only to those whose deposits are missing since Tuesday?
I’m with you on this. With no direct recourse available since they are offshore, if I lose my deposit, no 2nd chances from me either.
Interesting question.
I just texted one of my buddies I referred through their ambassador program to screenshot his home page. Banner wasn’t on there.
So does that mean Bovada management consider this issue resolved… I don’t know…
It also seems this thread has been much more quiet than yesterday. Looks like many got their funds back. Glad for them. As for my missing deposit, even now customer service is clueless even after escalation to another department last night
Still nothing on my deposit and i still cant reach q cs agent. This is actually ridiculous now.
I too am still waiting on my LTC deposit from 2/3. They are saying it was split into 2 transactions which makes no sense. I deposited a significant amount of money and have been credited $19.50 so far. Complete nonsense. Going on 60+ hours now.
