I know yall are having trouble with cashier & deposits issues but is anyone else also have issues with the site while playing? On bvx it’s working fine for me but Bovada is constantly freezing while I’m play slot games, earlier it froze while I was on a bonus and they had to file an “escalation” & I stilll haven’t heard anything. This is becoming a huge problem man. They play with people’s money way to much here.
Is anyone actually surprised by this with Bovada? The deposit confirmation issues with crypto, glitches with the site going offline regularly, promotions not honored correctly (we all remember the scratch card fiasco from last year), CS chats just being on autopilot with reps not knowing what’s going on…it’s all par for the course around this Wild West of a company
FAFO eventually
As an example of the lunacy. Hall of Fame player, hosted, red room been around many years.
Recently in marketplace I was unable to receive player transfers randomly, but can send them just fine. Keep in mind I am an All Star Trader tons of transactions. Never had a bad trade in over 5 years…so I ask the team here about the issue and the only feedback I get is “deposit options are at discretion of management”…
My case is already escalated to the financial team on 02/03 only and they initially said 24-48 hours. That has also passed. Spoke with CS agent and they said I should wait until tomorrow, but they can’t guarantee that I will get funds.
On 2/3 and 2/4 CS agents were helpful and escalated the case to proper team. But today they were talking like the we don’t deposit address, you already received the amount (I.e 20% of the deposit amount) that’s all they could find, deposit address don’t match. My only hope is wait until tomorrow afternoon and see if they fix the issue and deposit my funds.
Yeah basically the same story here.
I wasn’t as worried until they stated saying these addresses don’t belong to them/these funds aren’t guaranteed.
For those who have correctly received their deposits, did you all receive the amount you deposited or are they issuing the deposits based on the current value of crypto?
Is it just time to start filing reports / complaints on platforms like Coinbase where the transfer is made?
I think you cannot make a complaint on platforms. Since, the transaction is initiated it will be transferred and cannot be reversed for crypto
When was the last time we heard from a @moderators ? When did we last get an update or at least telling us they don’t have an update?
Latest message I got from financial services team
Thanks for contacting Bovada Financial Services.
We regret that you haven’t yet received the deposit you’re still waiting for, even though it’s taken longer than you expected. However, we cannot guarantee a specific timeframe.
Nevertheless, we are continuing to work to resolve this as soon as possible.
It wouldn’t do anything unfortunately. Crypto transactions are irreversible, and Bovada can just generate a new wallet address.
If Bovada wants to lose my business for $600, then it is what it is.
Why are they still taking deposits? Has anyone successfully deposited after the 3rd? I refuse to do it but I’m curious if people have done so and if it’s worked. They got me for 300 and nothing like everyone else. Been waiting since Tuesday morning
I thought things over.
In the Blockonomics I checked the bitcoin address Bovada provided for deposit last Tuesday Feb 3 noontime central. My deposit came in quickly, then a few hours later someone withdrew from the address. Then I checked all my previous deposits in bitcoin with Bovada that didn’t have problems. They all had similar patterns.
I am more confident Bovada is aware of the deposits but their payment processor got messed up in a really severe and unexpected way. I don’t think some third party stole my fund from Bovada’s website while Bovada was caught unaware.
Now it makes more sense, why not only crypto deposits but also credit card deposits and match pay were affected; why they are making patchy reimbursement of crypto deposits with errors in amounts; and why they cannot promise a concrete timeline nor straight out guarantee anything. They are still discussing/disputing/fixing things with the payment processor.
They always move funds from the wallet that’s generated on the site to other wallets they own. They usually do it almost instantly, but because of this issue a lot of the deposits didn’t get moved until later that day or even until Wednesday.
At least we can rule out losing the funds to a hacker. Bovada probably has long known that as a threat so they have good defenses against that.
The question really has never been whether they’ve been hacked. The messed up part of it is that they are able to move funds to different wallets, but are unable to credit our accounts the moment they do so. I can understand the issue that occurred, but having us wait 3+ days on deposits that they already moved HOURS after said issue occurred is unacceptable. On top of that, after waiting days, we get credited the wrong amount than what we deposited.
Yeah deposits are working from what I’ve heard.
I don’t care though, I’ve deposited onto another site for the time being. I love Bovada’s interface even though it gets arguably worse with each update, but a lot of crypto sites are still way behind compared to Bovada. I’m personally not depositing a cent into here unless I get my money back.
If that’s the issue, maybe they are trying to figure whose deposit belongs to who?
However, why would ANY company rather keep all their customers in the dark for 3+ days instead of just communicating the issue?
You know it’s bad when we have been so limited on information, players start trying to be detectives to figure out wtf is going on
Yeah, that’s why they are having to manually go back and check each deposit. They have a system where they can see the addresses generated tied to the account where it generated from, so what they are doing now is tying the money from those addresses to the correct accounts. It’s just unacceptable that they are literally reviewing it manually and getting it wrong.
I don’t believe it’d take more than 72 hours to manually do it. A random 4 hour span on a Tuesday morning.
Now if this happened the day before or the morning of the Super-bowl, I’d see why it’d be taking this long…
