Site Stability Updates - 2

Compensation should be rolled out in 2 phases: 1) a small one to keep people active to dump on a unstable site 2) a legit compensation when instability issues are fixed to recoup our losses

Yep. Downplaying it will not make us feel any better I agree flimsy.

And I see what you’re saying little Jon but most definitely the fact that we were kept in the dark about something potentially bigger picture being serious pisses me off. And even now they’re gonna keep us waiting for as long as they can.

Just don’t deposit. They put up this post today trying to convince people that there funds are safe, and we should deposit again. Problem is that the bitcoin market is down again. So there going to pull the same trick they did last saturday. We deposit, they hold the funds til the market rises, they disperse our original funds and keep the interest, and finally they don’t honor our deposit bonuses because that was last week. I think most people here are smart enough not to deposit, so don’t give in to the bs.

To be honest, I think the DDoS claim is legit, I had delayed funds coming to my account, along with slower refreshes and bad live lines upon wager placement. But I think you’re a little over the top on your no evidence claims. One whale would cover all of our 250$ depo’s for months lol.

I understand why you are mad, it’s definitely frustrating, I just choose not to grab a torch or pitchfork in the Community - a) enough other people got that covered, b) I think @James and his team are just doing their jobs to the best they can and part of that in the real world is doing what management asks you to do. 🤷

Not the Mods fault but the management should be ashamed.

I’m in customer service and this was a poor display of any sort of customer service. They fell on their faces

Spot on. It’s not always as cut and dry as we think looking in. For example: if bovada is getting blasted by ddos attacks and are working on a solution, if they show their hand too early, on what the cause / solution is, it can potentially delay them regaining their full control of their servers. I’m not saying our money/info isn’t safe, but the servers need a revamp to ensure this won’t happen again (in the near future at least) big profitable companies get hit by these attacks for ransom, or spite.

Just my thoughts

We should especially be notified if the source of these attacks are suspected to be acting on behalf of a government or anything related. That means the odds of the continuation of the attacks are obviously going to be higher… which means people aren’t going to want to play here anymore. I can’t believe people are actually taking up for bovada here. The lack of communication throughout this issue is totally unacceptable. Acting like this is just some normal thing? Oh our money is safe… someone is just trying to flood the site so we can’t even get to the withdraw page to take it out… then who knows if the crypto systems are working? Reeeal safe lol.

The moderators definitely get the brunt of the frustration as the community is the only avenue to vent and search for real answers. CS chat is a joke so this forum becomes the life line for players trying to get answers

Yeah, I highly doubt that they will ever be able to determine if someone is acting on behalf of any gov’t.

What do you mean? Everybody knows that when Jeff bezos ddos an off shore gambling website, he signs his name at the bottom of the attack.

“ enjoy us disrupting your service… sincerely, Jeff bezos CEO of amazon “

You would be surprised what you can do if you know what you’re doing. Bovada’s tech team is bottom of the bucket. Their site wasn’t even on the internet for 3 days because of a “failed update”. Come on man…

Not gonna lie, I think Elon Musk would sign it.

Actually true hahahhaha

Pretty easy explanation

If theyd told us all 2 weeks ago they were under cyber attack no one wouldve deposited the last 2 weeks

Pretty simple

Now its past the point where any rational person could believe its just a tech issue so they had to come clean

Ive been saying this for 7 days

I saw this and I was very surprised. I am responsible for the PCI certification as well as many of the network and related certifications that are required for my company to be online. This is because we are an online call center and take credit card payments. What is interesting to me is that we are a really small operation and new in it’s existence and yet we still have to provide and prove CPI, AML, KYC, etc. etc. regularly or else we fail. And during that time it is a requirement that we both simulate and defend against the most robust and contemporary attacks that can occur. This is to protect both our clients and our customers. How can we do this, but Bovada is telling us it’s a 20 year old issue, and yet unidentified at the same time???

The best part about this is that bovada just admitted to being under a cyber attack, while allowing people to continue depositing. No warning, No shut down, Just business as usual. They just keep shooting themselves in the foot.

it looks like no compensation until early next week…they are going to see how it goes over the weekend…the wait continues

Make sense why the bonuses were affected dirtying spins and it took hours for deposits to got through!! They will give compensation but nothing will come if it no wins no nothing especially on slots seems a bit rigged to be honest
