Yea I’ve got 7 calls yesterday from Panama
If our funds are so safe in y’all’s website then there should be no reason we are not getting compensated immediately.
It was pretty obvious what was occuring after anout last Friday
Which is why i was telling everyond not to deposit any real money
The “Bovada Cyber Attack Bonus”
if they are gonna wait til early next week on comp, no reason they shouldnt send out some more rewards points…it sus…they can issue those during these attacks but not compensation? ridiculous.
Lol u dreaming bro. Get ready for tens of dollars of comp!
We, in the US, operate under more stringent requirements by law. Obviously, there are little requirements for operation under their governing law.
That said, being a large money operation you’d think they would take every step possible to protect and prevent such issues. It is clear that they have no disaster plan, nor the right teams in place to handle more sophisticated attacks. They should have a top tier firm on retainer for such, not just in house IT.
Continuing to take deposits and deny bonuses along the way leaves a salty taste in my mouth. They’ve known what was going on the whole time and have kept us in the dark. They chose a dollar over long term loyalty. Bad call if you ask me. Without divulging the information prematurely they could have supported the idea of players witholding deposits. They didn’t even have to say, “Don’t deposit,” but rather, “I understand your frustration, it’s understandable that you may want to withhold depositing funds until we are notified the issue is resolved,” we got “Your funds are safe,” and “There is no relation to casino RTP and the outages.”
Such BS. Get your shit together and act like the multi million dollar operation that you are instead of being greedy bottom feeders.
So are we taking this information we are given well folks — or is it still a little obscure they kept they were engaged in attacks for 2 weeks from us?
I mean i guess anyway thanks for the 2 week late update; non the less, part of me thinks this was a scapegoat excuse. how much can we believe them at this point? withholding information is the same as lying where i’m from.
Damn . . . Wish I would’ve know about Cyber Attacks before depositing money again. . .
Bovada is struggling giving out 2 dollars worth of free spins from last month. Why do people keep talking about how much compensation we should get, and when we should receive it. Its been a week of the same complaint. If you haven’t figured out yet, bovada isn’t listening nor do they care. Just sit back, and keep warning people not to deposit. Actions are louder than words.
If there is one thing (maybe the only thing) bovada has provided over the past 2 weeks… it is a comical soap opera to read! These threads are fairly entertaining despite the intense frustration shared by all of us!
For someone who may know more than the rest of us (or the moderators)… could these attacks explain the downtime in December and April as well?
If so, the issue here seems to be going back much farther than these two weeks. This would mean it’s been the better part of 6 months without clear cut communication. While omitting information isn’t explicitly lying… it’s a pretty bad look when we are trusting the site with our money.
I don’t think the whole “let’s keep complaining about Bovada to each other, in hopes something we say will get their attention and thus rewards will be dropped” is working guys…
Very entertaining though…for that I thank you.
I just calls from Panama yesterday. I did not answer since it makes no sense someone from Panama would call me. WOW. I had no idea that is related to Bovada. Scary. I have been depositing although smaller amounts. But the world of me I could not hit anything. I wonder if that is also related to the issues at hand.
December they blamed it on a “failed update”… since this is a cyber attack that isn’t “their fault” it’ll be interesting to see how the compensation compares.
Makes sense… but could the failed update been a patch attempting to protect against these? Or could the botched update have exposed the site to more attacks?
It’s just weird to me… I’ve been on here for years… never had any of these issues. Suddenly, there are 3 in 6 months. Obviously just speculation… but interesting food for thought (in my opinion)
Has nothing to do with what they are saying. They operated many years with or without a gaming license. The gaming license they are under now Curacao are crooks and Google advises you not to deposit at any curacao based caaino. Curacao doesn’t not intervene or have the consumers backs when it comes to consumer vs online gambling site. The whole point of a gaming license is to protect the players and prove legitimacy of that gaming site. They have operated under no gaming license for many years now they have this fake curacao scammer license all of a sudden. Issues upon issues ahead along with your funds being took just like black friday. Big red flag.
Well, this escalated quickly turned off my computer for few hours, came back got account message about cyber-attack craziness,
Truth will set you free.
2020/2021/2022 par for course.
What’s next? Should be fun.
