Yea. I didn’t mean for it to be detrimental but more educational for all of us here in the community. I figured it most definitely aligns with the events that have occured on the same exact timeline as those articles tho. I want Bovada to be around. I don’t want to see them go or ultimately be banished from the US market. But I also want to know I’m somewhat protected and not looking for trouble.
Same But I feel like shits about to hit the fan

I just want to reiterate the fact that we were not hacked, ddos attacks have always been something we and others in the space have faced (as have other industires). I’m not trying to downplay the impact this has had on our players recently, but the diction here is important.
Happend again two jackpot sit and gos 20 a piece kicked me off not won’t let me log in. I need some help this is like the 10th time it’s happens in two weeks. I need a refund now
This thread is devolving into the world’s biggest game of clue. Who DDOS’d the website?! It was Mikey_Bovada, on the beach in Curacao, with the palm pilot!!
@James with all due respect sir, the only words people want to see you post are when can we expect comp man… it’s the ugly truth and we both know it sir.
I understand, and we can say that it will not be before Monday.
James can we do somtning. I get my last week sit and gos will be refunded later on but it just happen twice
@James through the weekend means that players who don’t feel comfortable depositing at this time will miss even more important games including nba finals and nhl conference finals. Why not offer a temporary compensation such as rewards points so that we won’t more more crucial games on top of the ones we missed already?
Received an email 20 mins ago “please refer a friend” and receive $125. So my friends can deposit to a site “under attack” and lose their money too. No thanks. They are trying hard to push in them deposits and frustrate people into losing money. Emails aren’t under attack and their promotional emails don’t stop though.
Bovada is begging for deposits at a time when they have completely lost the trust of their customers and it still refuses to alleviate anybodys concerns
Ultimately here’s the deal
The money in players accounts isn’t Bovadas money
Its the playersv money
When this started EVERY player with a balance should’ve gotten an email explaining what was happening so they could decide what to do with their money
Then EVERY attempted deposit there after should’ve came with a disclaimer about what was occurring so people could decide if they wanted their money on the site
If Bovada had done that we wouldn’t even need comp. Because this wasn’t a site error it was an outside attack.
But they didn’t. They treated the money in players accounts like it was already Bovadas money to decide what to do with AND they didn’t inform new incoming money of the real deal
So now you’ve lost all trust
And you gotta pay the piper to try and get it back
But don’t forget to refer your friends for that referral bonus!
good stuff James and i appreciate your thoroughness in these difficult matters.-----my stuff has been clicking in and out with last couple of days being all good so far--------i dont know about Norton i used to have them but i have been going with Trend-micro for internet protection for a while now and they are very thorough --------keep up the good work james for i would hate to lose out on my horse racing action !
I get them 4 times a day for the past week
Man, this is just getting ridiculous. As much as I want to gamble, I guess I’m just going to enjoy my weekend and come back on Monday. If there is no compensation/solution to all this bs then sadly enough, I’m going to have to go somewhere else. Kinda sucks cause I love Bovada and It’s one of the only sites that works for me in my location.
Please do not post anything that violates our terms of service. But please continue to deposit while we are under attack and violate our own terms of service. Gotta Love bovadas responses.

I couldn’t help myself
