How can Bovada actively see who and who this hasn’t affected if they’re not basing it off deposits/activity? Obviously a lot of players (myself included) haven’t deposited this last week or two because they’re skeptical. The site being wonky definitely was terrible last week for me when I was unable to cash out of a few live bets or having the ability to hedge. Costing me hundreds

Please re-edit, it was happening to companies 4-5 years ago, before DDoS protection software became readily available and pretty inexpensive. Just look up articles on major banks and major sites like draft kings and fanduel. Their DDoS major attacks were from around 2016-2018. Bovada cheaped out on their cybersecurity software and it’s apparent. At this point even when DDoS attacks come through, with proper software it doesn’t take 2 weeks to mitigate and get back to functional.
You are right the “diction” is important, but not how you are portraying it

The ddoss attack specializes in targeting cashouts on sports betting and hedging sports bets specifically.

Not sure if this has been shared yet but we all know they all act together cause they are together. Don’t hold your breath for Monday! This says weeks….
No company is going to tell you 100 percent truth.
Companies every day are hacked, and you never know about it or they offer you free credit review for 12 months etc.

We all very well see how we are safe to give our informations and bank account numbers etc.so disappointed after I have read other players comment if this was a big gambling company wouldn’t let the players to effect more but it sound like Bovada just packing up their baggage and looks like gonna leave a big mess behind while they are out I guess you guys need to start withdrawing your money because you might not be able to withdraw money again just go and search on internet what is exactly going on in the US for gambling sites…

First let me say I am HOF, Red Room, Hosted on and off several times through the course of Bovada/bodog’s existence. I loved Bovada. It crushes me to say what I will next. I don’t want to leave. But ….
Whatever is happening behind the scenes I have no idea….i have lost trust. it is extremely telling to me that further comps have not been handed out. Bovada may skimp on IT budget but they are not stupid and I’m certain they know their competitors will be all over us for our business. They will comp us but our own site won’t? That we’ve been loyal to? It’s crazy and makes no business sense…. So why is Bovada leaving that door open and not comping us for this disaster? It is an absolutely unbelievable decision to wait. Again, unless something else is going on like a money grab as others have pointed out.
I don’t know what else to say but I know that WE deserve to be treated better than this.

DDOS attacks are fairly common and are a trademark cyber attack of the us gov. They basically use a computer to act like multiple computers and try and log onto a site and flood the servers. Only instead of one computer like you and me would use…they use thousands of computers.
But it doesn’t affect the ability to continue to make deposits. It just affects everything else?

Everyone seems to be in agreement on wanting another round of compensation through the weekend. Why can’t the system be changed to allow the cs reps to provide another round of comp? You guys are really going to let us go through another weekend of players not playing on the site? Because I can tell you for a fact I will not be depositing
